The weather here in California is getting way too freaky. Apparently it actually snowed at some guy’s backyard in san diego!!! Oh gosh no wonder it’s so darn cold in Davis. This morning I woke up for my 10am class, the temperature dropped below ZERO degrees Celsius!! I need to go to san fran and get warm fuzzy gloves. Taking the Amtrak down to Berkeley to visit jo this Friday ☺ woohoo we’re going to party and shop hard in san fran!

I love my Tuesdays. One morning class and then I’m done for the day. munched on some delicious pastry that my friend brought from LA and looked through the photo collection wooon made for me before I left for USA last year! Haha wooon if you’re reading this, THANK YOU lots for giving me this photo collection. It’s hilarious looking back at ourselves. I cant believe a person can look so different after 2 years man! How caveman eyebrows can be turned into model eyebrows under the skilful hand of Mary :) haha yes wooon I’m revealing our shared beauty secret. It’s ok. every girl needs to visit mary once in her life. Hahahaha. Looking through old unglam photos never fails to put a smile on my face. Oh yeah I have this picture of woon French KISSING macdonald!!! Haha that picture is bitchin!

Oooh NorCal slang: Bitchin = awesome, cool, etc.
Imagine my surprise when my friends said that their professor was bitchin. I seriously thought they were talking bad about the prof. haha oh well turns out it was the exact opposite.

hmmm ok now I shall proceed to tell you about how I attempt to add some “spice” into my monotonous college life.
Oooh yeah I finally went to sing karaoke! Friday night, keith drove me and cathy to sacramento for dinner and kbox. Ok keith parked his car under this tree, which seemed to attract a lot of birds, because his car was COVERED in bird shit. When I say covered, I mean COVERED. Haha I couldn’t stop laughing at his car when I saw it. But I must say that the sound system and various gadgets he installed in the car are pretty impressive. traffic was really bad. Poor keith. He had to keep changing gears cos everytime he sped up, he had to slow down in the next second. So we had to endure his complaints about having leg cramps. Haha I even offered to get him a brand new AUTO car (when I’m rich enough) so he would be relieved from bothersome leg cramps.






Dinner at this Korean bbq restaurant. Expensive but totally worth it. SOOOOO yummy!! Korean cuisine just entices me to spend a week in korea! after filling our bellys, headed down to RuruLala for karaoke. And no, the name is not made up by yours truly. THE place to sing ur heart out is RuruLala. Suddenly I realised that maybe K-ster and K-box aint bad names after all. This place was set up by a Korean family so when you ask for asian songs, you’re going to get extensive Korean and Japanese song library. As for the Chinese songs, I think I was looking through songlists from the 80s. I couldn’t find any familiar Chinese artists in the 20 page song library. Thankfully I could fall back on English songs. Tried to harmonise, but failed miserably. Miss karaoke-ing with choir pple and naifen! When it comes to singing Mariah carey songs, I definitely need choy & chye.

Saturday evening was spent in the gym. Janice and I ran around the track for 40 minutes. Woohoo! Enduring 40 minutes of non-stop running is no easy feat for me ok! so cool it. Haha after the run we headed down to jamba juice for a quick booster. Temperature then was subzero again and what was I wearing? SHORTS, a shirt and a sweater. Thank god for friends with cars. Once we stepped out of jamba juice, it was a mad run to the car!! FREEZING cold.

Sunday afternoon splurged on sushi buffet at fuji’s. oh man this buffet matches up to the Kushin-bo buffet in Singapore. Just that the portions here are way bigger. Naturally. Haha man I wish I can ship the class guys here for the buffet. No charge for leftover food!

Well, Monday was pretty lazy. Next thing I know, it’s Tuesday! Hurray!! Hopefully everyday goes by this quickly!! :)

Oh man I cant wait for Friday to come! Vacation in san fran!! Yay!
